Hospitalizations are handled by the in-house hospitalists group at St Lucie Medical Center, Lawnwood Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic. Please inform their staff that you are being followed by one of our providers. 

Vacation/holiday coverage will be provided by staff of Geriatric Solutions, Madetric Wood, autonomous APRN for Fort Pierce, Vero Beach and Sebastian and staff of Quality Wellness House Calls, Tania Burey McLean, APRN, ACHPN for those residing in Port St Lucie and Stuart.

Business hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Our office closes from 12 noon to 1 PM for lunch. Do not hesitate to call the office first at 772-242-3260/772-243-7426 for all matters. Calls received after 5:00 will be addressed the following business day. You can always opt to send an email through the portal.

Once established with the practice, patients will be seen every 1 to 3 months based on needs, or intermediately upon notification by patient, facility staff or family members of new problems. Same day appointment is possible but based on availability; requests are generally completed within 48 to 72 hours. We do offer telemedicine/telehealth option. 

Exceptional Care Choice LLC is not structured to manage emergencies. At any time if a patient, caregiver, family member or staff considers a situation to be an emergency, 911 should be immediately activated without delay. 

Exceptional Care Choice, LLC accepts Medicare fee for service, Medicare supplemental insurances, PPO, no HMO. We also accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. Receipt will be provided at the time of payment for fees paid.

Medicare set the allowed reimbursement schedule for services rendered and pays 80% of that amount. (For APRN, that represent 80% of 85% physician fee). The remaining 20% is the patient’s responsibility or supplemental policy and patient responsibility in combination. Exceptional Care Choice LLC is obligated to seek out and capture the remaining 20% as Medicare considers waiver or non-collection of patient balances as a breach of the Medicare participation provider agreement.  A $30 return check fee will be enforced for any returned checks.
